beautiful and detailed description is very absorbing, though sometimes it's too much and can be irritated...The ending is sadness scented, nostalgia lingering but still comforting with hope.

终于看完了原著，对中译本和电影都充满了爱，但原著带来的震撼却大过了两者的和，读得不轻松，在词汇和感情两个层面上都不轻松，其间有烦躁想放弃的时候，但有更多想流泪的时刻。全书对战争着笔甚少，但无时无刻不在抨击这种丑恶以及丑恶遮盖不住的人性。
