Harold到底有多愛文學，愛到他覺得莎士比亞幾乎可以代替上帝。不管認不認同他，那種激情還是讓作為讀者的我羨慕不已。（另外，友鄰沙門哥寫的書評很好，在書的首頁可以看到）

序言很好。正文中提到的書目，之前讀過的會有新的理解，沒讀過的更多是當做書單瞭，比如說 Hazlitt 和 Samuel Johnson 準備有空讀一下，還有不少莎士比亞需要重讀。布魯姆真是喜歡莎士比亞啊，最高的贊美就是 Shakespearean... 另外司湯達的《帕爾馬修道院》已經是第三次遇到瞭，除這本外還有卡爾維諾《為什麼讀經典》以及帕慕剋 Other Colors..
