序言很好。正文中提到的书目，之前读过的会有新的理解，没读过的更多是当做书单了，比如说 Hazlitt 和 Samuel Johnson 准备有空读一下，还有不少莎士比亚需要重读。布鲁姆真是喜欢莎士比亚啊，最高的赞美就是 Shakespearean... 另外司汤达的《帕尔马修道院》已经是第三次遇到了，除这本外还有卡尔维诺《为什么读经典》以及帕慕克 Other Colors..

Harold到底有多爱文学，爱到他觉得莎士比亚几乎可以代替上帝。不管认不认同他，那种激情还是让作为读者的我羡慕不已。（另外，友邻沙门哥写的书评很好，在书的首页可以看到）
