看上去是对anarchist温良搞笑的政治嘲讽，其实揭露了现代世界黑暗空洞的内核。伦敦街头涌动的multitudes在无尽时间中冷漠盲目地前行，让人不寒而栗。我和这个充满恶意的无机世界之间只隔了一层薄薄的玻璃而已，打破我和他人之间的玻璃不再是和谐社会的理想，而只能带来惊愕、无助和绝望。

It's ironic because it suppose to be serious but it's anything but serious. The absurdity and uselessness of the revolutionists, futility of political conspiracy. Conrad's works are not like Orwell, whose works are very clear-cut and readers can immediately...
