真有意思这书的英文原版的主标题成了中文版的副标题——Theorectical Anxiety and Design Stratergy 中文版的主标题是原版的副标题——Eight Contemporary Architecture 而且强调了 “哈佛” 八位现代建筑师看来此类书在这儿还是很需要名牌效应的。

大二時在老包圖的角落裏翻到這本書，當時還不知道作者Rafael的大名，還不知道這本書的地位影響，隻覺得他寫的非常清楚，很珍惜。藉齣來，還自己用紙將它包瞭書皮，生怕會弄壞。其中赫爾佐格的那章看瞭好幾遍，現在迴想起來，似乎已經忘記瞭裏麵的文字。但那個小小的在瑞士的美術館，至今還打動著我。

如果給齣一個educated建築師的paradigm, 那麼肯定不是Eisenman,Rossi and Venturi之流，也不是Koolhaas, Gehry, H&DM，甚至不是Siza和Stirling, 隻能是Rafael Moneo, 除瞭精確的點評和分析，理論與實踐視角嫻熟的切換，還有一個包容的心。
