He has taught in both Spain and America, and from 1986 to 1990 he was Chairman of the Architecture Department at Harvard's Graduate School of Design. 真有意思这书的英文原版的主标题成了中文版的副标题——Theorectical Anxiety and Design Stratergy 中文版的主标题是原版的副标题——Eight Contemporary Architecture 而且强调了 “哈佛” 八位现代建筑师看来此类书在这儿还是很需要名牌效应的。

前面介绍理论反而比后面介绍项目要更清晰，罗西项目部分简直是一头雾水，相比之下艾森曼那本更开眼界

如果给出一个educated建筑师的paradigm, 那么肯定不是Eisenman,Rossi and Venturi之流，也不是Koolhaas, Gehry, H&DM，甚至不是Siza和Stirling, 只能是Rafael Moneo, 除了精确的点评和分析，理论与实践视角娴熟的切换，还有一个包容的心。
