石黑一雄（Kazuo Ishiguro），日裔英国小说家，1954年生于日本长崎。1989年获得“布克奖”，与奈保尔、拉什迪并称“英国文坛移民三雄”。被英国皇室授勋为文学骑士，并获授法国艺术文学骑士勋章。

1989年，石黑一雄获得享有盛誉的“布克奖”。石黑一雄文体以细腻优美著称，几乎每部小说都被提名或得奖，其作品已被翻译成二十八种语言。

就处女作的水平来讲，石黑一雄是比村上春树高明很多。双线并进的故事，乍看是记忆的碎片，其实是战后创伤、移民失落的真实样子，在这样一个大格局下，作者简单而又成功地讲好一个了故事，赞！

a bit creepy especially when you realize that sachiko might just be etsuko herself or there indeed exist such a person but they do share the same experience. i am a bit puzzled. Kazuo Ishiguro was 5 when he moved to Britain. How can he describe these Japanese things so precise like he's been growing up there. this is definitely not a british novel

当觉察到Sachiko不过是Estuko的分身时，各种情绪一下子上来了。“telling story is highly recommended”，上次有人这么讲故事，是在Life of pi。

几乎看过石黑所有的小说这一本是唯一一本看不下去的。

也是战后主题，这本里的人物不讨喜，不少对话刻意让人不适和烦躁。
