Carl von Linne (Linnaeus) was one of the world's great naturalists. While his massive labors on the classification of plants are universally known, and indeed still form the basis for all plant and animal taxonomy today, his writings are less known, because of a dearth of translation.
In this book, extracts from three major expeditions that he undertook through his native Sweden have been illustrated and presented in an attractive form for the general reader.
