Marion的書可以說是這一年讀的書中在我心目中排名前五的一本書。在這本書中Marion以後現代（？）的眼光審視現象學與神學的發展，他檢討人們用以稱呼“神”的方式，延續瞭他在“偶像與距離”中區分“偶像”與“聖像”，他與海德格爾較勁認為上帝不能被降格為“存在”，人因自己的虛空將上帝視為能夠給予存在的存在，然而在上帝那裏卻不存在所謂的“存在”或者“不存在”之分，上帝在一場不對稱的活動中主動給予，這是“愛”，這是“贈予”，這是“慷慨”，人隻能在其中接受上帝的贈予（這也是Marion所有書的一個根本齣發點）。正是因為上帝與人之間的無限距離，我們纔能夠存在並接受神的愛，虛空是否倒嚮上帝？最後加瞭一篇寫托馬斯的文章（繼承吉爾鬆），我覺得國內一位著名學者論笛卡爾的永恒真理似乎和這本書很像啊（微笑）
