Not all that great. 是誰他媽給我說這個是硬科幻的，明明是太空歌劇，還是太陽係內的。世界觀設定十分有意思，人物描寫就十分一般。不惜Holden這個角色，聖母白蓮花。然後Miller是個半瘋子。有聲版本讀得和死魚一樣，毫無帶入感。

可以用星際爭霸中的視覺元素完美無縫地來還原這本小說的故事。所以，對於熟悉星際爭霸的人，讀這本小說可能是最不需要調動想象力的吧，but in a good way. 另外，標題就是大劇透啊！

雖然已經看過電視劇，書到末尾，Miller赴死的情節，以及他與Julie最終的對話，還是催我淚下。Miller這個角色其實蠻類型的，一個幾乎失去瞭一切（且部分是因為自己的錯）、厭世也厭棄自己的人，靠在灰色的人生矮牆上冷眼看絕望的人世，卻聚集起靈魂裏僅存的餘溫，去愛。救世隻是順便為之，即便沒有人愛自己，自己愛一個值得的人，那道光芒也耀眼到瞭他義無反顧犧牲自己的程度。

先看電視劇再補的小說，隻有兩個視角狹隘的POV讀起來真的昏昏欲睡。。。

語言水平和故事綫索與結構，與海伯利安相比，差太多瞭。畢竟隻有Holden 和Miller兩塊大闆的拼圖太過簡化瞭，即便加上Julie Mao，依然過於單薄。勉強及格吧。讀完瞭以後，不禁感嘆，馬丁就帶齣這麼兩塊稀料啊。不過也不稀奇，文風和權力遊戲差不多。能夠打動人的情節不多，Miller隻身深入Eros後上演的太空追逐戰，算是可以吧。
