比较传统的太阳系内亚光速太空歌剧加上第一次接触，没有太多的惊喜，但也没有什么遗憾。两个主要人物失意侦探写的比较好，理想化的船长写的一般。

Not all that great. 是谁他妈给我说这个是硬科幻的，明明是太空歌剧，还是太阳系内的。世界观设定十分有意思，人物描写就十分一般。不惜Holden这个角色，圣母白莲花。然后Miller是个半疯子。有声版本读得和死鱼一样，毫无带入感。

结果2015年就有了中文版，简直out到睡不着。冰火风，然而还是跟冰火有肉眼可见的差距。核心之核心，世界观塑造和共情的培养，如果不是剧集先入的好感，恐怕会带入较难

语言水平和故事线索与结构，与海伯利安相比，差太多了。毕竟只有Holden 和Miller两块大板的拼图太过简化了，即便加上Julie Mao，依然过于单薄。勉强及格吧。读完了以后，不禁感叹，马丁就带出这么两块稀料啊。不过也不稀奇，文风和权力游戏差不多。能够打动人的情节不多，Miller只身深入Eros后上演的太空追逐战，算是可以吧。

中文版序朋友们跟我们说别写这本书。他们说读科幻小说的人不多，读者群太小，写这种书是浪费时间，浪费精力。如果我们想写书，最好写别的题材。但我们还是写了，不仅在英语国家卖得很不错，拿了些奖，还将拍成电视剧，在全世界很多地方也都赢得了读者。朋友们错了，但想想他...
