Product Description : Best known for creating CD Baby, the most popular music site for independent artists, founder Derek Sivers chronicles his “accidental” success and failures into this concise and inspiring book on how to create a multi-million dollar company by following your passion. In Anything You Want , Sivers details his journey and the lessons learned along the way of creating CD Baby and building a business close to his heart. “[Sivers is] one of the last music-business folk heroes,” says Esquire magazine. His less-scripted approach to business is refreshing and will educate readers to feel empowered to follow their own dreams. Aspiring entrepreneurs and others trying to make their own way will be particularly comforted by Sivers straight talk and transparency--a reminder that anything you want is within your reach.

Derek is one of my favorite blog authors - this book is reasonably insightful but has the weakness of all collection-of-articles type of books - each article is an insightful one but from a book's perspective not well structured enough to demonstrate something deeper. Nevertheless a page-turning, short but decent read overall.

It's a 3-coin-thick pocket book in which every page worth 0.1 pound. The author: a doer plus a thinker, INTJ, prefer giving to getting. Inspiring & refined. 170113reread.

The first English original edition I ever read, and it's worth reading. Good start of 2012. Thanks to kindle fire and amazon prime account. 如果有齣版社願意引進這本書的中文版權,歡迎聯係我翻譯。
