三個部分：穆斯林經典敘事中的穆罕默德；現代批判曆史學對這種敘事的研究和反思；現代語境下對穆罕默德身份的重構。主要的點都講到瞭並且講的很清楚，但是第一部分的比重實在太大，都讓我懷疑作者是不是穆斯林瞭，我還是更期待這書裏有更多分析和學術史的內容，像關於聖經的那幾本Very Short Introduction那樣。
