怎么说呢，这部书的特色很浓。它给人的感觉完全背离了Serge Lang的那本经典的《代数》，也完全背离Jacobson或者Hungerford。书里讲的内容很广泛，不算太难。深度中等，大学阶段就可以一看。

一本高品味的书。本书特点：着重大局不拘小节。本书常被拿来与lang的砖头做比较不少人偏爱砖头认为artin的这本只能本科看看甚至只能工科生看；我的看法是：如果一个人在本科期间能把这本书认真读完（课后习题也要做否则会眼高手低）那么他将获得足够的taste与background...
