"short intro"自然意味着只涉及主流作家的主流作品。总的感觉是作者对Claire de Duras之后的作品理解地更深，目测其方向应该是francophonie lit或者20世纪。书中最大的优点是设定了一条主线，也就是关注作品主角的英雄主义或边缘化。

选择的作家作品有着一类超越时代的、共通的（法国中二）特质，即关注游走在社会规范和道德边缘的思想者、反抗者、革新者，french revolution 之后的部分很喜欢，francophone literature 则打开了陌生而又广阔的空间。很想读一下的书：Justine ou les Malheurs de la Vertu（萨德侯爵）；Nadja（布勒东）；Journey to the End of Night（塞利纳）；Caligula（加缪）；La Cantatrice chauve（尤奈斯库）；Hiroshima mon amour（杜拉斯）；L'Oeuvre Au Noir（尤瑟纳尔）；I, Tituba, Black Witch of Salem（孔德）

有独特见解的法国文学史，详细地梳理了法国文学中protagonist形象的流变，很好地串起了各种历史和思想背景。根据作者的思路，有一批本来我不太重视的作家在这里得到了重新评价，比如senghor、bonnefoy、perse等等。对更广阔的francophone literature的研究也是一个值得重视的方向。
