Una estación de amor(爱情季节), La muerte de Isolda(伊索尔德之死), La meningitis y su sombra(脑膜炎和它的影子)各自讲了爱情的不确定性、不可重复性和不可理喻，La gallina degollada(被砍头的母鸡), El almohadón de plumas(羽毛枕头), El solitario(钻石胸针)这三篇比较有名，疯狂与死亡出自于此。Quiroga一生坎坷，其全部悲情都倾倒在这些诡谲怪诞而泛着原始自然气息的故事之中。

原文比译文好看，基罗加人说人话的功夫不错，有雅言亦有村语，Los mensú中的阿根廷西语看了很有意思。喜欢的故事那是那么几篇，不过"自说自话"的讲述方式表现得更为清楚了。长舒一口气...这个生词量，真是让人绝望。
