大部分是欧洲史论文，夹杂大段法文德文拉丁文又没英文翻译完全看不懂。。。阿克顿信仰兰克史学，认为只要根据档案等材料，并以客观的角度书写，便可得到令所有人满意的历史结论。这种观点以今天来看，实在太陈旧不切实际了。
