課程論文參考，掃瞭一遍覺得很有意思，就拿來消遣好好讀瞭。本來以為是和PH一樣的故事性敘事，結果發現人傢很學術。講的是90年代日本工作環境，著重一種手工業嚮機械轉換的時候人在工作中身份的變化。本傢和分傢的探討那本非常有趣，解決瞭很多我之前在看火影的時候就很睏惑的問題。

傳統，義務在現代日本社會中，對現代日本年輕人的身份建構中依然起著非常重要的作用。self 與traditional在identity中似乎tradition占有更大的比重。這讓在美國文化中成長的作者感到不結。因為日本人立世的基礎是義務。這在多本關於日本的民族誌中都有體現。《鄰裏東京》中也提到瞭社區中有一位人保留著大傢的送禮來往，“來往”體現的一種義務締結。而義務往來最密切的地方是傢與社區。因此即使是現代日本，傳統的烙印也無比深刻。
