內維爾·舒特（Nevil Shute，1899—1960），英國小說傢。生於倫敦，1950年遷居墨爾本。他本姓諾威（Norway），開始創作小說後，為避免對其航空工程師的事業造成影響，遂拿掉姓氏發錶作品。舒特善用清晰的筆調和明快的情節講故事，以第三人的眼光打量社會各階層的人與事，其作品涉及階級、種族、宗教和愛情等議題，且常以豐富的科學知識來探索人類對未來的幻想。《世界就是這樣結束的》（On the Beach）是其代錶作。
