The Gift是近幾年來讀過的小說中最喜歡的之一。那種美的感覺，隻有在《追憶似水年華》中體會過。VN喜歡的各種遊戲也在這本書裏露齣端倪。Nabokov wants to kill Chernyshevsky and wipe him out of Russian literature. The problem is that the book too drenched in Russian literature, and I wonder how much I actually understood...
