著者簡介

Stephen King is the author of more than fifty books, all of them worldwide bestsellers. 這不是Stephen King的最好作品，但仍不失為一部不錯的小說，前期故事情節發展很緩慢。他現在很喜歡寫巨長無比的書

小鎮就是mini版豬圈，驚悚科幻版的“動物莊園”

不得不提書中齣現的兩個關鍵名詞: The Simpsons和Spielberg, 前者在07年的劇場版中展現瞭與UTD中幾乎一模一樣的穹頂, 不過這並不是說老金抄襲, 事實上穹頂的概念老金在20多年前就已經形成瞭; 後者則確定將把UTD拍成電視劇, 雖然小說精彩之處在於人物性格的描畫, 但是個彆大場麵還是能讓老斯一展拳腳的. 最後想說由於大量刪減緻使小說最終篇幅遠沒達到先前預測的1800頁, 可是1074頁的長度也能在老金所有作品中排名第三瞭, 期待今後也會像The Stand那樣發行未刪節版本.

和以前金的小说的版本比起来，这本算是上等，纸张、排版都是优良，当然价格也是一流。我是在益文书局买的，现在正在看，第一感觉不错，虽然翻译成中文看起来是比较舒服，但是还是很想看看英文原版。发现好东西会在这里和大家分享。还有哪位在看，可以交流一下。
