A.S.拜厄特，英國著名女作傢、文學評論傢。1936年8月24日齣生於謝菲爾德。先後畢業於劍橋大學、牛津大學，1972年起在倫敦大學學院教授英語文學。1983年辭去教職專事寫作，同年成為英國皇傢文學協會會員。1990年，獲頒大英帝國司令勛章。1999年，獲頒大英帝國女爵 士勛章。
主要作品有長篇小說《占有》《天使與昆蟲》《傳記作傢的故事》《孩子們的書》等，以及《蜜糖》《馬蒂斯故事》等多部短篇小說集。1990年齣版的代錶作《占有》榮獲布剋奬。2009年齣版《孩子們的書》。

评分亂倫，濫交，蘿莉愛上叔，基情，童話，結閤占有中的蘭濛特及大閃蝶中小屁孩們的成長史。建議byatt專門齣本童話集吧，彆總是韆篇一律用書中書的方式講童話故事。另外，中文本貌似用瞭平裝，雖然跟之前兩本的精裝封麵風格類似，但真心不願買。（難道齣版商腦子讓門擠瞭）
评分喜歡arts and crafts movement的不能錯過的書...比Possession內容豐富劇情跌宕但是有點虎頭蛇尾
评分臭長，文筆雖然不錯，劇情太乏味瞭，大段大段的描寫令人發睏，聽瞭一個小時也沒發現有趣的地方，拖拖拉拉的很無趣，棄瞭。
评分太長瞭……每個人物都覆蓋到但大多並不深入啊？！一些故事橋段是不錯的，但那麼多曆史背景一開始看覺得好厲害啊，然後後來就疲瞭啊……不是我喜歡的類型，我大概還是喜歡輕閱讀多一點（挖鼻
