We may tell from this book that the author, at some point, sincerely wanted to deviate from Sherlock Holmes series and write something else. Depressing as the Part II may seem, the novel is not mundane after all.

听了sir甘道夫读的版本。。前半福尔摩斯，后半背景故事。。带这么长这么完整背景故事的，之前可能只看过四签名。。？作为只对乱步的犯罪小说感兴趣的人，看这种传统人设的犯罪好无聊啊>< 还是只让我yy福尔摩斯和华生就好了嘛～><

前半段是爵士后期少有的佳作，后半段依旧是其喜欢的背景故事附加结构，一个美国杨子荣的故事，可惜不如前半段严密，真的不是写着骗稿费的么～

和《血字研究》一样的模式，前面还是很精彩的，感觉三集片102的真正来源应该是这一部吧。后面的……好吧，我看侦探小说真心不喜欢看到侦探不出场的情节……

2009.12.24 看完 还不错。两个故事都很经典。结尾有点错愕。
