major paintings and rob Maggy of her innocence.
Maggy Lunel is Mistral s first true inspiration
and, though they separate, fate will always link
them. Only years later when he meets Teddy
Lunel, Maggy s daughter, does the obsessed
Mistral discover his greatest love. Teddy is the
top photographic model of the 1950s-trium-
phant, sought-after, restless. She and Mistral
abandon everyone and everything in their reck-
less love.
