2019年11月26日，從推上找到瞭未刪減的版本，在豆瓣上標記瞭「在讀」。這是一本永遠存在於「在讀」的無法重新標記的書，可笑又可悲。

大部分篇幅講的是 Who is Snowden and why he did what he did. 最後幾章介紹瞭逃亡香港和莫斯科的經曆，大部分都已經是為人所知的。但其中的心路曆程，還有其當時的女友現在的妻子在那段時間裏寫下的日記，看瞭讓人感動。

Very interesting at the beginning and at the end: when he started his IC career and when he decided to go to HK. The middle part about the explanation of basic computer security is quite shallow and basic at best. Been there, done that. I loved Lindsay's diary, so vivid. I would say that's a true libertarian but journalism is corrupted, it's dead.
