评分看书评和作者的感觉应该是本好书啊，应该是以老人的口气写给小朋友的书，并且这个老人是研究艺术史的，应该能把这两者好好的结合起来，从不同的角度讲一讲，但是翻译的是在太差了~让人都读不下去了~ 有没有可以直接读的英语版？

评分盘点了一下耶鲁小史系列还剩三本没读，准备先读贡布里希《世界小史》，毕竟以前读过中文版～（才知道这本书他27岁那年花了6⃣️个星期就写完了…2019/08/18更新:读完了！最后两章写得真好！
评分世界歷史像卷軸式pop up book一樣在你面前鋪開，並不細膩卻非常有趣。這本書主要是寫給初中生看的，完美適合我這個對世界歷史的認識只有一知和半解的壯年女青年，沒有一點歷史魁梧地立你面前，你必須畢恭畢敬的仰視的感覺，當然就更不會有壓迫感啦。縱然歷史早成過去，在時光機被發明之前我們只能回顧，但就像沒事翻翻陳年發黃老照片一樣，看看從前慨嘆一下，還會有不期然的美感。面對歷史不見得必須肅然起敬，但在觀看的過程總會不由自主感到一種恢宏，尤其當你看到一件又一件影響今天的歷史事件，慨嘆人類的不寬容和貪婪的同時，也為他們的勇敢和善良感到不可思議。小書雖小，但卻包裹了史前到近代的世界，歷史很平易近人，而同發人深省。
