Short story and totally different with the movie. People like to make everything meaningful regardless of the meaningless itself.

What if we were born seniors and died babies? It is not only a matter of imagination, but also profound thinking on our lives.  

Not that the Movie is not sober, but the novel is more of a satirical tone (may be just for me), and warning: the figures and plot in the novel are weaker and simpler...
