小老鼠小時候聖誕節被裝飾球砸到，從此對聖誕節有瞭陰影。因為恐懼，它處處限製彆的動物慶祝——不讓掛尖尖的星星，不讓用火等等。最後甚至宣布取消聖誕節，但是朋友們給它準備瞭禮物呀，它拆開禮物發現很喜歡，於是恢復瞭聖誕節，終於消除瞭對聖誕節的恐懼。最後的轉摺有點牽強，不過故事整體還挺有趣，對白設計得也不錯，讀起來就很霸道。教小朋友不能太霸道。
