小老鼠小时候圣诞节被装饰球砸到，从此对圣诞节有了阴影。因为恐惧，它处处限制别的动物庆祝——不让挂尖尖的星星，不让用火等等。最后甚至宣布取消圣诞节，但是朋友们给它准备了礼物呀，它拆开礼物发现很喜欢，于是恢复了圣诞节，终于消除了对圣诞节的恐惧。最后的转折有点牵强，不过故事整体还挺有趣，对白设计得也不错，读起来就很霸道。教小朋友不能太霸道。
