罗大冈，法国文学专家，翻译家。浙江绍兴人。１９３３年毕业于中法大学文学院。１９５３年后，任北京大学文学研究所、中国科学院文学研究所研究员，中国社会科学院外国文学研究所研究员，中国作协第二届理事，中国翻译家协会第一届理事，中国国际文化交流中心理事，中国外国文学学会第一届理事，中国法国文学研究会会长。１９８３年获法国巴黎大学荣誉博士称号。中国民主同盟盟员。是第五、六届全国政协委员。

Stereotyping but with fairly good grounds; interesting alternation with wives and discussion of law 六天读完啦！可能破了英文阅读速度的记录！这本书的孟德斯鸠是很有大都会/cosmopolitan气息的孟德斯鸠。聪明的剧情设计：中间波斯帝国里一个女性觉醒的小故事，到最后最贞洁的Roxane觉醒的剧情扭转(twist) 以及中间一个故事：被选为领导的老者说的你们选我为领导，是为了可以被我的管制而束缚而非被自己的道德所束缚

老孟的语调在书里渐入佳境最后50篇简直篇篇经典可是为什么始终觉得孟德斯鸠不应该写这种奇奇怪怪的东西... 里面的Paris换成现在的帝都和魔都其实也一样适用的吧...
