即使有挺多推薦，看瞭我實在覺得不怎麼樣，想法齣發點不錯，但是整個手法都很“小傢子氣”(無趣/局促/半成品感)，浪費時間

3-/5 My first foray into Ogawa's oeuvre left me with a sour feeling that I didn't fully understand what she is trying to achieve with this novel. The book deals with totalitarianism and the philosophical meaning of human existence, yet the writing is too languid to carry the story with force, not to mention the deeply flawed plotting.

無趣且單薄。僞科幻/文藝作品的反麵教材。論科幻，世界秩序和世界觀都沒搭起來，memory police作為權力機構，其來由、目的、閤法性沒有一句解釋。論文藝，反復描摹記憶消失的感覺，牽強附會，讓人隻有快進。完成度甚至不如《素食者》。

I’m only less than half way through but struggling to finish this book. I find the premise too simple, the metaphor too banal, and the plot too flawed to be engaging.
