之前一直在读这本。今天想来打分。“有时候一觉醒来，对过去某样事物的记忆就会被清除一部分。很多时候我一下子反应不过来是哪一部分记忆不见了，但我知道，今天与昨天有一些不一样。”读的时候，我感到一种忧郁和诡魅，又有一种异样的熟悉… 但没有想到这种再现来得是那么快，那么猛烈…

I’m only less than half way through but struggling to finish this book. I find the premise too simple, the metaphor too banal, and the plot too flawed to be engaging.

即使有挺多推荐，看了我实在觉得不怎么样，想法出发点不错，但是整个手法都很“小家子气”(无趣/局促/半成品感)，浪费时间

3-/5 My first foray into Ogawa's oeuvre left me with a sour feeling that I didn't fully understand what she is trying to achieve with this novel. The book deals with totalitarianism and the philosophical meaning of human existence, yet the writing is too languid to carry the story with force, not to mention the deeply flawed plotting.
