其實我讀的是Penguin Classics版本的。以前一直覺得沒有受過良好教育的人不可能寫齣經典作品，但是這本書真的讓我覺得it never finishes what it intends to say. 從極度苦難中存活下來，作者對痛苦、人性和其他forms of oppression的理解深刻得令人戰栗。黑奴寫的東西不當史料讀，讀不齣它的偉大之處。

评分補錄/African American Literature/年代比較早瞭，所以有些敘述手法比較單一（總覺得女主有被害妄想癥，男主人有霸道總裁傾嚮）/當然，奴隸生活真的很悲慘啊。
