我一度怀疑人们喜爱这本书是因为它太薄了。临睡前拆开今天到的快递，都是图画书，这本《蝉》是图画书里最薄的一本，我掂量着睡觉前说不定都能翻完，就把塑封拆了，翻开了，大约一分钟不到，看完这本书的时间，不到六十秒。出乎意料的悲惨境遇，简直近乎刻板地被歧视被孤立被...

2.5/5 This is my first Shaun Tan's book (I read it at a bookstore) and although I quite adore the illustrations and find the ending empowering, Cicada is still an underwhelming read for it'd be much stronger if there was more substance in the story. Still, I can relate to Cicada a lot because I'm feeling fucking undervalued and invisible at work!
