(1785), offers an intimate personal record of Johnson's behavior and conversation during the trip.

閑餘時間一天看一百頁。Hebrides行兩遍。Johnson復雜有趣得多，Boswell記瞭兩倍篇幅。這種結伴而行，各自寫下所感所想的做法蠻有趣（可以吐槽對方），想找人嘗試！
