A good book, but not really my type.

记得课上老师说the “water” in the title is actually the “hope” 整本书在两个时间线里穿插整个故事很丰富人与人之间的关系及其变化阶级之间的冲突还有男女主人公和大象Rosie之间的感情有很多细节都是让我动容的……除了发生在过去的精彩故事年迈的Jacob对于马戏团古怪的偏执也很让人印象深刻
