NeilJ. Salkind has been teaching at the University of Kansas for 30 years,in the Department of Psychology and Research in Education. He taught courses indevelopmental theories, life-span development, statistics, and research methodsand received his PhD in human development from the University of Maryland.He has published more than 80 professional papers and is the author of severalcollege-level textbooks, including Statistics for People Who (Think They) HateStatistics (now in the third edition),Child Development, Exploring Research, and Introduction to Theories of HumanDevelopment (Sage 2004).
