Analytical Mechanics provides a detailed introduction to the key analytical techniques of classical mechanics, one of the cornerstones of physics. Many worked examples are given, and there are 250 homework exercises to help students gain confidence and proficiency in problem-solving. 基本上就是拉格朗日翻来覆去...有一点倒是蛮有意思的.就是关于质量的定义,作为一种acceleration的应性度量..."所以某种程度上来说时空相对性不会是mass/emerge to velocity的一种invariant表现"..."浅谈时间作为一种质能转换的tensor表达"...

大二时（2014年）分析力学教材。最大特点还是讲得非常细致，很多例子可以说是在手把手教学生算。不过分析力学有很多细致的东西确实是第一遍注意不到的。之后读朗道的力学，虽然很多地方都讲得不是很细致，需要自己去理解，但我认为只有靠自己想通了才算是学会了。第二遍再看本书的时候发现很多读朗道时懵逼了的地方，该书也提过，但是第一遍确实注意不到。

总体还不错，就是感觉其中的数学做的不好，没有考虑到学生的数学基础，也没有很kindly的在前边写一章数学基础，强烈建议先看数学系的变分法有关的书，里边的数学简明易懂。更新，数学足够情况下看起来是真爽，的确是最readable的一本书，强烈推荐。
