最近係裏一位資深老教授在開Dissertation workshop的課上，第一周就布置瞭這一本書，目的是讓學生通過這一係列的論戰來學會如何make an argument。此書的第二版包括瞭1983年的原文，之後各方的批評，以及作者十多年後通過新一輪的研究做齣的迴應 (格式上有些以前Art Bulletin裏intervention的味道)。
