Ask the Dust is a virtuoso performance by an influential master of the twentieth-century American novel. It is the story of Arturo Bandini, a young writer in 1930s Los Angeles who falls hard for the elusive, mocking, unstable Camilla Lopez, a Mexican waitress. 诗人骗来的一本书，前面很吸引人但没看完就扔在那了，这周末把它看完了，场景和心理描写太真实了，让人忧伤和小小绝望的故事；那个年代那些环境中年轻人的爱情才会有那种飞蛾扑火的勇气和决裂吧，我反正不是太懂，我们这个时代蝇蝇苟苟的人们也不会懂吧
