When data, facts and analysis do not persuade any more, for those whose faith of what the world should be like and the reality are too far beseiged, resort to your feelings. It feels exactly as how Coates swing between various opinions and camps, with loss of sense of gravity, and in the meanwhile being drowned down deeper and deeper in the swamp.

很可惜在Ta-Nehisi Coats前兩周來Evanston Township Highschool演講之後纔因為他在Reporting & Writing課上第一次注意到他，沒能看到本人。整本書angry black man's rage, sometimes radical, but most time the rage is justified. "White people are, in some profound way, trapped; it took generations to make them white, and it will take more to unmake them." #missingobama
