著者简介

Ted Chiang is an award winning writer of science fiction. Over the course of twenty-five years and fourteen stories, he has won numerous awards including 4 Nebulas, 3 Hugos, 3 Locuses, and the John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer. He freelances as a technical writer and currently resides in Bellevue, Washington and is a graduate of the Clarion Writers Workshop.

其中巴别塔的一篇还是不错的，与书的标题相同的一篇很有意思，其他的就都没有看完

自己的英语还是太差，无法完全体会字里行间的感受和情绪。之所以会看这本书，是因为看了电影降临，对你一生的故事印象尤为深刻。通过研究一种包含未来信息的需要，自己获得了一种了解自身未来的思维能力。看着现实中还是工作伙伴的对象，未来将会成为自己最亲密的人，还会有爱情的结晶，是一种怎样的无可言表的奇妙感受。而且，他对此还一无所知。如果天下所有的女孩都可以获得这种不可思议的能力，那所有的男孩就不用在为如何俘获芳心而煞费脑筋。

因为电影降临而机缘巧读的第一本英文软科幻小说。喜欢作者在scifi的设定里鼓吹人文、宗教精神，有碰撞才有美。
