著者简介

John Connolly was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1968 and has, at various points in his life, worked as a journalist, a barman, a local government official, a waiter and a dogsbody at Harrods department store in London. He studied English in Trinity College, Dublin and journalism at Dublin City University, subsequently spending five years working as a freelance journalist for The Irish Times newspaper, to which he continues to contribute.

He is based in Dublin but divides his time between his native city and the United States.

如果每个小孩子在第一次体会憎恨这种感情的时候，都能体会一次想David这样的奇遇，可能很多人在成年之后会过得和顺很多。所以说，不管JC在The book of lost tihings里加了多少现实世界的元素，它还是一本童话，因为没有一个人能像David那么幸运，大多数都被自己心里住着的那个Crooked man给吃掉了。然后，那几个无产阶级小矮人真是太好笑了Orz

英文版也看过的。

断断续续读了一个月，到三分之二处真的读不下去了。这是一个完整的作品，虽然我没看完，但是能做到没把死去的配角忘了就很不错了。除了白雪公主部分都很boooorrrring
