观点复杂，照此思路乔叟梦幻诗可以当古典文论去读了(⊙x⊙;)。借助medieval faculty psychology来分析从BD到HF再到PF中逐步进化的epistemological process很有启发，最后一章从梦幻诗延伸看诗人整个创作轨迹(moving from "a poetics of interiority toward an understanding of social context and a grounding in historical experience" p.153)也很有说服力；论证很大程度上仍然受convention & originality框架的牵制，而且把梦境硬当做诗人对诗意创作的反思确实也有用力过猛之嫌(cf. Spearing 2011)。
