故事部門蠻新奇的，論述沒什麼深度，作為科普讀物是閤格的
评分《經濟學人》記者Tom Wainwright將2010-2013年在墨西哥的報道集結成書，用經濟學視角評估政府的禁毒效果，對其他行業亦有參考價值。Goodreads評分4+（5分滿分）。
评分很不錯的一本書。主要講述瞭美洲大陸的毒品是如何”well developed”。作者是以一個經濟學傢的角度去看待這個問題並且提供建議。優點：因為作者作為economist在美洲的記者，可以提供大量的第一手資料，很真實。缺點：作者的觀點其實經濟學界已經提齣來，而且相當久瞭。這本書觀點缺乏獨創性，沒有像《黑天鵝》帶給我的思想上的震撼。 總的來說這是一本總結瞭之前經濟學傢對於毒品看法，並用作者的親身經曆來佐證瞭這些觀點。作為科普書還是不錯的：）
