著者简介

ELIZABETH STROUT is the author of several novels, including: Abide with Me, a national bestseller and BookSense pick, and Amy and Isabelle, which won the Los Angeles Times Art Seidenbaum Award for First Fiction and the Chicago Tribune Heartland Prize, and was a finalist for the PEN/Faulkner Award and the Orange Prize in England. In 2009 she was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for her book Olive Kitteridge. Her short stories have been published in a number of magazines, including The New Yorker. She teaches at the Master of Fine Arts program at Queens University of Charlotte.

Anything Is Possible的前篇，Lucy为何不愿回家，为何不爱她妈，为何要背井离乡前往NYC，不就因为童年不堪，被太薄对待，都能在这一本书里找到答案。语言简单但也啰嗦，作者本人的文风如斯。Style of Elizabeth Strout.

非常敏感，敏感到再多一点点就疑似矫情了。

看完先去仔细了解了下作者私生活，结果发现并不像书中文学老师说的那样，“作家一辈子只能写一个故事”。全程代入Allison Janney，最后一次去看母亲那段看哭。结局太飘，感觉想到哪儿就写哪儿。全程一直在想《Tony & Susan》，但其实没什么明显联系。
