著者简介

ELIZABETH STROUT is the author of several novels, including: Abide with Me, a national bestseller and BookSense pick, and Amy and Isabelle, which won the Los Angeles Times Art Seidenbaum Award for First Fiction and the Chicago Tribune Heartland Prize, and was a finalist for the PEN/Faulkner Award and the Orange Prize in England. In 2009 she was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for her book Olive Kitteridge. Her short stories have been published in a number of magazines, including The New Yorker. She teaches at the Master of Fine Arts program at Queens University of Charlotte.

中年妇女写的书真是看得无聊到晕晕欲睡

趁着写完长篇的精疲力竭阶段一口气看完的。很薄的一本书花了足足三天。还是斯特劳特一贯的风格，貌似平淡却让人时不时得停下来出出神。同时也和其他长篇一样，比短篇会直白一些。最喜欢最后那段写平原日落的，只想使劲点头“嗯啊，你懂的”。No one comes from nothing in this world.
