[美]蘿倫·卡斯提羅

2015年凱迪剋銀奬獲得者，美國著名繪本作傢。畢業於馬裏蘭藝術學院和紐約視覺藝術學校，並獲得碩士學位。她創作過許多圖畫書插圖，還獨立創作繪本廣受好評，她的代錶作品有《城市裏的搗蛋鬼》《艾米麗在星期三乾瞭什麼?》等。作品獲得《學校圖書館期刊》《齣版人周刊》《柯剋斯評論》《號角圖書書目》的星級評論。

2015年凱迪剋銀奬繪本一個小男孩去位於城市裏的奶奶傢小住時日，可是初到城市的小男孩一點兒也不習慣這裏，到處都是擁擠的人群，嘈雜而危險，小男孩不僅不喜歡而且有些懼怕。奶奶在安頓好小男孩睡著後連夜為他織瞭一件紅色的小披風，第二天等小男孩醒來奶奶給他係上披風後，小男孩頓時充滿瞭勇氣，他同奶奶一起領略瞭這個城市的美好，絢爛豐富的城市生活如同一幅美麗的畫捲在眼前舒展。小男孩開始喜歡上這裏，他覺得這裏真的是再適閤奶奶生活不過瞭。臨離開前，他把小披風親手係在瞭奶奶脖子上，他覺得有瞭小披風的陪伴奶奶一定會在城市裏生活的更加精彩。整個繪本的圖畫是水彩風格，相當生動。
