一般。作者开篇就说it does not seek to provide a geopolitical guide to Western foreign policy making.所以想看这方面内容的可以直接不看这本了。地缘政治的发源不光彩，作为一门和纳粹联系紧密的“科学”，被学术界唾弃，发明至今学术界与各国当权政府的“合作”，导致其本身作为一种意识形态的信誉破产，在道德上备受质疑。作者还写到地缘政治与民族特性，性别，种族等因素的关系。
