As a member of society, I totally agree with the best interest+volunteer rule. But as a natural human being, I prefer to decide when, how and why to die by myself, no matter it's active or passive. Writing has no problem. Logic is grounded and honest. But Ethics is all about trapping yrself and just boring...

评分Major gain: genetic information challenges the individualistic nature of many of the moral assumptions made in discussions of medical ethics. The book is well-organized but personally I feel that some counterarguments are not very strong.
