这本书在R语言入门系列书里可以说很经典了，经常有人推荐，所以也是我最先看的几本R语言书之一。当时就跳着看的，现在研究完Tidyverse之后回过头来看，庆幸当时没有花太多时间和精力在这本书上。原因很简单，就像标题上说的，这本书是基于Base R的，如果你接触过Tidyverse之后...

R的基础内容覆盖比较全面，把基本和高级的用法分章节来讨论，适合初学者以及中级读者；其次，有几章是讲述R在统计方面的功能和应用，这部分很好，适合中高级的读者。因此，个人感觉书的内容比较充实，值得看看。
